Biography:

MUNNS,John Bernard, R.B.S.A., N.S.A. (1869-1942)

Portrait and landscape painter. Born in Birmingham, son of Henry Turner Munns, portrait painter. Studied at Birmingham School of Art.

Exhibited at the RA., Paris Salon and at the RBSA from 1888. Member of the Birmingham Art Circle, and elected ARBSA 1917, RBSA 1923.

Birmingham City Art Gallery holds his work.
